As such, it is high on the agenda of government policy makers as they seek to create environments that support the activities needed to employ knowledge in efficient basis. Knowledge across nations as U.S.A, UK, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, India, and most of Scandinavia is widely recognized as a national wealth that must be maintained and maximized. KIPEI is a sophisticated index for refining knowledge programs, strategies and policies for providing a clearer relative sense of the role of knowledge in enhancing productivity, increasing profitability and cost reduction, and aims with creating a more concretely actionable basis for decision makers by giving PEI a coherent insight about the exploitation of knowledge assets effectively with regional peers comparison.

KIPEI monitors key knowledge trends, identifies risks and gaps in knowledge and recommends ways to address challenges by drawing on PEI capabilities in partnership with key international knowledge entities to enhance on initial framework includes areas such as creating an enabling environment for knowledge based activities and procedures, knowledge assets formations (human capital , structure capital, and network capital), fostering knowledge based investment, knowledge based industries and knowledge based services.

KIPEI shall be used as a platform and tool for action for a series of economy, investment and education dialogues among decision makers, business leaders, scholars and other opinion shapers to helps them move beyond sole dimensional knowledge metrics towards a more holistic analysis of knowledge drivers and outcomes.

The index has been successfully tested on Kuwait Petroleum Corporation KPC and Public Authority for Industry PAI. KIPEI will be officially launched on the national conference on 1th – 2th Feb 2016, Kuwait.
